About
Me.

My name is Jennifer Wolf and I am a senior in Fashion Design at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. I was always blessed knowing Fashion Design was my calling. I always knew I wanted to make a positive impact.

Throughout my life, I always struggled with something when buying clothing - fit. Fit made an impact on me every time I would go in a store. I would leave feeling distressed and upset, disliking my body for not properly fitting into clothing offered in stores. Continuing to feel this way for many more years, I came to realize I wasn't the only one. Most women find it very difficult to find proper fit in their clothing. Seeing women around me struggle made me start to research and conduct surveys. From here, I realized this is a bigger issue than I've ever known. I asked myself how do we fix this problem of lack of fit? Finally I came up with one answer, categorized size charts. I have started to grow this idea and will keep developing inclusivity throughout all of my projects.

I have experience in the fashion industry as I work for IMG for every fashion week as a venue assistant to help designers, PR and production teams, greet and set guests, set up the show, and more. I also worked as an intern in the summer of 2019 for the couturier company Isoude. I worked there as a production intern, working to cut fabric and prepare notions, work on tech packs, communicate with seamstresses and manufactures, and work with clients in fittings. I have participated in two fashion shows showing my own work - Salem State fashion show and "free the soul" fashion show. I work as a sales associate at Nordstrom in the handbags, jewelry, and accessories department giving me amazing customer service skills. I was also selected to represent Massart in the cfda 2020 submissions. Along with working on my bfa in fashion design at Massachusetts college of art and design, I am also getting my minor in entrepreneurship at Simmons University.  My dream is to someday have my own design line.
